Down by 23.5% of annual sales of the electronics business of Acal Technology
Since the acquisition of BFI Optilas last December, this activity represents 77% of the total turnover of Acal.

During its fiscal year 2009 - 2010, ended March, the business of distributing electronic components from Acal UK fell by 23.5% on a constant basis, to 79.3 million pounds (95 million euros ).
However, including four months of sales of BFI Optilas (acquired last December), the total sales of electronic components distribution Acal during the fiscal year 2009-2010 reached 112.4 million £ (134.8 million euros), and the change from the previous year becomes a growth of 8.4%.
Note that since the acquisition of BFI Optilas, distributing electronic components represents 77% of the turnover of Acal.
The integration of BFI in Optilas Acal is half done, according to the group, the establishment of a common ERP is in progress, as well as streamlining storage areas. Once this integration is complete, Acal has a saving of around £ 4.4 million (5.3 million euros) per year in operating costs.
All activities (components distribution, sale of spare parts for equipment of information technology, and sales of medical devices), Acal has achieved a turnover of £ 181.6 million (217.7 million of euros) in its fiscal year 2009 - 2010, down 9.8%, and net loss before tax of £ 6.3 million (7.6 million), against a loss of 32.6 million pounds (39 million euros) a year earlier.
