1. Use an Adapter
One very good way through which you can connect the iPod to your car stereo is by using an adapter. A cassette adapter is like a cord that helps in plugging your iPod from one end and at the other end you have the cassette shaped adapter. One advantage of this adapter is that it goes straight into your car's stereo and through it you can easily listen to your iPod with the help of your stereo speakers.
2. Consider buying a new car
As far as I am concerned this is a very expensive option. But if you have the budget for a new car then you can buy a car which comes with an iPod docking port. These days I am very sure all the new models launched by various car companies have iPod docking port that would help you to easily access the music on your iPod while you are driving.
3. Make the use of the FM Transmitter
Another option that you can consider for connecting your iPod to your car stereo is through a FM Transmitter. There are a wide variety of different models of FM Transmitters available in the market now days, they plug into your car's cigarette lighter and then connects your iPod. Some transmitters only transmit few channels while some are useful for transmitting the whole band. If you want to listen to songs on your iPod then you only have to tune the radio to a channel that does not receives any outside signal, once you have done this you can easily listen to your iPod's songs on the radio waves.
