Samsung introduce the ominia HD -- the world first mobile phone with a 3.7 inch AM OLED Display with 360x640 pixels. The phone includes an 8MP camera supporting real HDMI audio and video output as well, that can be easily and directly connected to your HD TV set, has a GPS module, supports DLNA and comes with DivX compatibility. It's powered by Nokia's S60 5th Edition on the Symbian OS.
The Omnia HD also features dual-stereo speakers and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support for stereo headsets. It features quad-band GSM support, with tri-band UMTS and HSPA for high-speed data. Wi-Fi is also on board, so that users can make use of hotspots for even faster data connections. Moreover the auto-focus in the camera is capable of recording HD videos. The vision angle is amazing, and no matter how much we turn it, the color and contrast remain the same. This Samsung's on-the-go mobile is decently designed, but too large in its height and not so sleek. Anyway there is some comfortness in handling this touch-screen mobile. The memory of this phone is in two limits: 8GB and 16GB
This device is designed mainly to fulfill the lack of camcorders, but still need some implementations to reach those heights. Incorporating most of the advanced mobile technologies, this gadget is set to be priced high, thereby purposed its release only for high-class individuals. In short, this mobile is for those users who like to handle the technology in a different fashion, but when comes to design -- not so impressive.
