new Apple iPhone as a Book Scouting Softwareb and Book Scanner

Is there an application on the iPhone that can take the place of your scan books and book Scouting PDA software? Almost but not quite yet but it is clear that the capacity is there. So do not cancel your subscription and book Scouting throw your PDA yet. Hopefully the day will soon come when you can.

There are several for the iPhone designed to reproduce a scanner by taking a photo or video of a bar code and transmit information back prices. I used all these applications and they do not work. They may work every 2 on the purchase of 10 times and do not deserve - they are just headaches. These applications scan will often have difficulty reading a barcode and the information they give back is not all booksellers info needed.

Amazon has its own application when you take a picture of an item that you email the info back - a bit slow if you're in a sale of the library, but if you're just one of your haunts the purchase of books. You can take a picture of a book cover from Amazon and send it by e-mail about the book.

SnapTell is another app that is pretty good and the App Amazon as it is free. SnapTell works the same way that Amazon app - you take a photo and the back info on the book.

If you have an iPhone, it is clear that the feature is there to provide an application that will be able to integrate the database of the Amazon and provide Amazon Sales Rank Info, terms of books and information on prices. At least the application you would download the database and be able to get the info you want from the capture will be get the ISBN number is reached in the iPhone soon.

The camera on the new iPhone has been improved and I hope we see some possible uses for booksellers materialize.

The iPhone is not a book scanner yet but it seems clear that, as the operating system improves and the camera is better there will be a facilitator book on the iPhone
