Everlight, LG Display and Amtran create a joint venture in LED

Everlight Electronics, a leading Taiwanese LED manufacturers, LG Display, one of the world's largest producers of LCD-TFT and Amtran Technology, Taiwanese manufacturer of televisions and computer monitors, have signed an agreement for the creation a joint venture based in China and dedicated to the encapsulation of LED chips and LED modules production. Capitalized at 30 million dollars, this company, whose name was not disclosed, should be operational by the end of the year.
